There are no trade shows where they can present the new collection to their customers, other professionals and press. That is why next week, Laskasas is organising a digital event where you can immerse yourself in the special world of the Portuguese luxury brand and maybe even more then ever!
In the first months of the year, various trade fairs usually take place all over Europe where furniture brands, designers, interior designers, architects, specialist dealers and the press can come together to share new products, projects and information. Over the past few months, and also at the start of the new year, many companies have been looking for online alternatives in order to draw attention to their work. Portuguese furniture company Laskasas also found an extremely original way to present their new collection to a large audience, at a time when events around the world are being cancelled and postponed and professionals are having to close their business doors to outsiders. Laskasas was founded in 2003 in the Portuguese city of Porto. Since then, they have made an international name for themselves as a company and brand that creates timeless, handmade furniture, upholstery and metalwork for both residential and commercial projects. The brand describes its style as a ‘contemporary reinterpretation with influences of the Scandinavian functionality, the Italian luxury and the French glamour’ because ‘comfort is so important that it hasn’t a nationality or particular roots’. Moreover, their collections honour the Portuguese heritage of traditional craftsmanship while also breaking away from conventions in furniture design.
The experience is conceived as a real visit to an exhibition stand.
Laskasas is also very innovative in other areas, seeking to redefine interiors and what a furniture brand does and stands for. For example, they did not see the corona pandemic and its many measures as a limitation, but rather as a challenge to overcome and opportunity to introduce something new. In fact, for the launch of their 2021 collection, the Portuguese luxury brand is organising its own impressive digital event. 360-degree experience
This immersive experience will take place through a digital platform where visitors (interior designers, architects, decorators, showrooms, furniture stores and press) can discover in 360 degrees some of the rooms where the newest collection of Laskasas is presented for the very first time, as well as some iconic designs from the history of the company since 2003. The experience is conceived as a visit to an exhibition stand, where you are welcomed and asked to register and are then personally guided through the rooms. A central corridor or 'lobby' gives access to five spaces or - as they say at Laskasas - 'acts': entrance hall, living room, dining room, bedroom and office. ‘Every room is carefully designed to create a sense of welcoming warmth where furniture changes everything,’ we hear from the organisation. Not only is this visually very interesting, but during the visit you will receive all relevant product information, be able to create your personal wish list by simply clicking on an item, and receive live support from the sales and customer care team who will answer any of your questions.
