The Greek island of Mykonos has gained another beautiful resort. For the design of the Aeonic Hotel, the help of Stones and Walls was called in, who gave it a contemporary, minimalist look. The sober and calm spaces with wabi-sabi influences allow guests to enjoy a refined luxury.
Aeonic Hotel is an extraordinary retreat for those who wish to enjoy a relaxing holiday on the Greek island of Mykonos. Unlike many resorts, the emphasis here is not on extravagance but on authenticity and sophistication. The Greek design studio Stones and Walls was called in for the interior design. This resulted in a contemporary minimalist design, with clean modern spaces and some wabi-sabi influences. The rather sober colours, shapes and fabrics counteract exaggeration and create calm spaces, which are reduced to the essentials and exude a sense of tranquillity and peace.
Inside, the subdued colour palette works beautifully with the lively view of the outdoor oasis, which is dominated by the element water. Light floods the rooms and the use of natural materials, such as marble, local stone and oak wood, ensures that the hotel is in harmony with nature. These raw materials, together with some decorative touches, such as custom-made fabric art, ceramics and organically shaped lamps, emphasise the beauty and charm of imperfection.

To offer its guests a unique hospitality, the hotel houses all the essential facilities. The main building consists of the common areas, including the reception area, lounge, dining area, various shops and a bar. The majority of the rooms are also located here. The key element in the central building is the atrium, which connects the three levels and creates an atmospheric play of light and shadow. The skylight, created by pebble holes in the ceiling, reflects on a water surface on the ground floor.
Each individual room has its own private outdoor space with a swimming pool or jacuzzi, depending on the floor. The rooms, with high-quality, comfortable furnishings, provide the perfect surroundings for guests to fully unwind. The second floor of the hotel houses the wellness area, which has a woodland look. It blends in with the natural landscape and offers the necessary tranquillity to its guests, who can choose from a wide range of treatments. The restaurant and lounge area are located by the swimming pool, next to the main building, with a beautiful view of the sea. The designers describe these spaces as a sublime environment of subdued luxury and comfort, designed to provide memorable culinary and relaxing moments. Aeonic Hotel thus becomes an extraordinary haven of authentic sophistication. Surrounded by nature, it highlights the qualities of the environment and offers its guests the necessary relaxation and mindfulness.
