You have a special edition in your hands. It is not only the last edition of 2021, it is also our twentieth edition! But that is not all. This December issue also marks our first design special. Reason enough to celebrate (a little extra) this month, right?
Readers who have been following our magazine for a while already know that Imagicasa has a soft spot for the most beautiful design pieces and that we love to share them with our readers. For this very reason, we decided to make our winter edition all about this. What you can expect? 186 pages of inspiring design. The most renowned names – both established names and emerging talents – make an appearance, as well as the most inspiring projects. The best of the national and international design scene is featured in this magazine.
A wonderful and timeless design guide.
From the very first page, we immerse ourselves in the virtual world. We dream away at the most impressive interior visualisations and are transported to better spheres with some film-like car images. From the virtual back to the real world, where we visit a number of galleries, in Mexico (Studio IMA) and London (Béton Brut). As you can see, Imagicasa takes it big. We also introduce our readers to quite a few new names, such as Benoît Averly, Daisuke Iguchi and Eric Roinestad, and stay in the good company of some established names: how about Hollie Bowden or our own JUMA architects? Finally, we delve into the past, learning more about how George Nakashima started his iconic wood practice and how Pierre Sabatier’s monumental works of art marked architecture at home and abroad. We rest from this impressive journey in the most exclusive five-star hotel in Paris. 
As you can read, our entire Imagicasa team has done its utmost to bring you something unique again. We are very proud of our first design special and are convinced you will share our enthusiasm. I would therefore like to take a moment to thank you, our readers. Without you, this twentieth edition would not have come about. Let us go to the next twenty together.
