- Interior
Anthology Studio searches for what makes us as individuals feel at home. They are convinced of the narrative power of interior design and in every project they use this to transform spaces into 'emotional universes'.
Anthology Creative Studio is a Canadian interior design studio that takes residential projects in North America, and also internationally, to the next level. Their mission is to create sustainable interiors that tell a story and inspire the resident. Founders Kathia Lagacé-Nadon and Karim Guelmi call their designs 'slow design'. By this they mean interiors that encourage the visitor to stop and think about what 'is'. Slow design also refers to sustainable design, design with a timeless style and good quality.
Their mission is to create sustainable interiors that tell a story.
Anthology Studio's style is characterised by beige tones, natural materials and a sculptural accent. The colour palette is dominated by off-white and wood colours. Here and there one sees an autumn coloured accent in either red, ochre yellow or dark green. The interior designers combine different textures such as a velvet sofa with a ribbed armchair or a rough wooden floor with a smooth sanded wooden chair. Each interior has a sculptural accent, often literally in the form of a sculpture, a vase or a dynamic piece of furniture. All these elements have been carefully selected and placed, not only taking into account the aesthetics of the space. An interior should do more than just be beautiful, it should be an extension of the user and facilitate habits. The Canadian interior designer duo takes interiors further than most studios and you can sense it through the beautiful images.
