Dream away to better places with the beautiful Villa Mandra where a natural, sober palette, peace and serenity dominate. Take a look at this beautiful project of the Greek K-Studio where they created a real experience in a mix of tradition and contemporary life.
K-Studio is a design studio based in Athens that finds its origins in architecture. With their interior and architecture projects, in which tradition, materiality and contemporary life are central, they create true experiences. Each design has its own identity and architectural narrative adapted to the context and wishes for that specific project. One of their most beautiful realisations, according to Imagicasa is Villa Mandra in Mykonos inspired by the context and surroundings: the beautiful green and brown hills and beaches of sunny Greece.
Immerse yourself in the serenity of the gorgeous Villa Mandra
This wonderful holiday home is situated on the ridge of the hill of Aleomandra in Mykonos and blends almost completely into the landscape so that it is almost entirely out of sight. From the outside the house may be almost invisible, but from the villa itself you have a beautiful view of the sea. ‘The villa celebrates its spectacular view from a grounded viewpoint blended into a sensitively landscaped, stone-walled garden that screens it from the road behind,’ we hear at K-Studio.
Contemporary life, the natural environment, tranquility and tradition are central here
Both indoors and out, you will immediately feel the peace and serenity that reigns here, which makes Villa Mandra the perfect location for a relaxing summer and holiday experience. ‘Form follows emotion here rather than function. In this way, each space becomes an opportunity for rest, reflection and exploration.’ The naturality of the palette is also immediately noticeable. The whole house is shrouded in warm, soft, natural materials and colours. Think of traditional materials such as limestone and wood and shades of white, brown, beige and grey. Everywhere around the villa you will also find nice shady spots and a swimming pool to balance the sometimes extreme climate of Greece. Traditional structures and materials were used here in a contemporary setting. Villa Mandra is an exact definition of the type of dwelling you would expect in paradisal Mykonos. It forms a soft, warm and natural whole where it is undoubtedly lovely to stay. Dream away with us at these beautiful images. In our minds we are already there!
