We already know that our partner Edra always develops products that combine a unique and timeless look with innovative design. Their designs are often playful and bold, without forgetting the important aspect of comfort. Recently, the Italian brand presented their latest Standalto sofa, which prioritises maximum comfort and soft fabrics.
The renowned high-end furniture brand Edra is a real family business that stands for pure Italian excellence. Their models exude class every time and have managed to charm us many times. It ensured that the company has since grown into an internationally renowned luxury brand. Thanks to their knowledge of tradition and techniques, they develop stylish products that are innovative at the same time. Today, we would like to introduce you to their latest sofa model, the Standalto. That sofa seems to float, as it is some 15 centimetres off the ground. It uses the "Soft Cushion" design, where the back and armrests can be adjusted to your liking with just a little pressure. Moreover, the so-called intelligent cushion also allows the sofa to adjust to your posture, ensuring ultimate comfort.
The sofa can be placed either in a linear position or in a corner.
The sofa's padding consists of springs and Gellyfoam for comfortable softness. Thanks to the different shapes and depth of the seats, varied compositions can be created. For example, the sofa can be placed either in a linear position or in a corner. The deep seats provide a form of informal comfort. The sofa is available in several colours and has a light matt finish, but leather upholstery is also an option. Finally, we should not forget the chaise longue, a separate model that also belongs to the Standalto collection and in which you can both sit and lie down. The name Standalto is a reference to the French "estendart", which means as much as a standard or an accepted norm for something. With this model, Edra shows that they are always looking for an even higher standard. Designer Francesco Binfaré mentions that he continues to research and improve the "Soft Cushion", and his quest is certainly not over yet. In our opinion, his new sofa is already a classic and elegantly innovative model that raises the bar for the ideal sofa a little higher.
