Named after its founder, Maison Pierre Frey has been a leader in luxurious, unique fabrics since 1935. With a commitment to original and eclectic designs, the company is still a big name in the interior design world decades later. Here we’ll share some of their most recent motifs which perfectly summarise the Maison.
Original, eclectic and yet still stylish
The atmosphere created by the latest Pierre Frey collection radiates the French 'art de vivre' nourished by a mix of cultures and styles. The Maison designs wallpaper, carpets, rugs and furniture. The materials, patterns and colours take you back in history, on a journey to warmer places. The company continues to innovate both technically (production methods, etc.) and aesthetically (surprising and inspiring fabrics) and enrich itself with collaborations and acquisitions of other renowned companies. One of the prints that perfectly reflects the brand is 'Manisa'. The eye-catching drawings of colourful ceremonial caftans are reminiscent of a charming and cosy bazaar where the garments are hanging, displayed in large numbers. Original, eclectic and yet stylish to incorporate in interiors.
It offers a very warm feeling. What else would you expect from a collection called 'Rêveries Orentales’? The patterns are enchanting, the textures, high-quality and the furniture, polished and refined. Images © Jon Day
