- Interior
In the middle of the historic centre of Brussels lies the exclusive Chambon Penthouse. It is the pearl in the crown of the prestigious Chambon complex, a former bank building that has been completely renovated. The interior designer was none other than Dieter Vander Velpen. He and his team are specialised in couture architecture: tailor-made solutions for high-end residential projects.
Dieter Vander Velpen left his distinctive mark on the spacious Penthouse in the heart of Brussels. He succeeded in combining the large spaces into a sublime living experience.
A marble and brass combination
In the kitchen, the sculptural cooking island immediately catches your eye. It stands out with its changing volumes in marble and patinated brass in the centre of the room. The cooking niche in white Calacatta marble ingeniously continues in the cupboard wall.
"Timeless, noble materials form a rich palette that draws its inspiration from the art deco elements of the Chambon building."
Throughout the entire interior, Vander Velpen uses a sleek, contemporary interplay of lines. Timeless, noble materials form a rich palette that draws its inspiration from the art deco elements of the Chambon building.
The royal master bedroom
On the first floor lies the spacious master suite. Through the dressing room you reach the master bathroom which is also completely made of Calacatta marble.
A glass walkway connects the bedrooms with a separate wellness area. Enjoy your sauna, the double shower, the spacious jacuzzi and the beautiful view of the inner area!
