Israeli design studios Pitsou Kedem and Baranowitz & Goldberg joined forces to create this exclusive and impressive Jaffa penthouse in Tel Aviv. The sun-drenched luxury apartment of no less than 1500m2 was given a beautiful, warm interior design.
The context and environment played a major role in the design of this impressive residence. The designers were inspired by the historical glory of the Old city of Jaffa, the beautiful view of the sea and skyline of Tel Aviv and the heritage and minimalistic Modernism of the White City. That is why we find a harmonious combination of old and new, historic and modern in the interior. "For the interior design, we mixed old and contemporary influences in an abstract way, emulating the contrasts between the two in a harmonious and uniform design," says architect Pitsou Kedem.
This dwelling covers an entire floor, has an area of no less than 1500m2 and a roof terrace and garden of another 1000m2. To emphasize the views, the penthouse was given a very open layout with a 360 degree panoramic view. Because of those large spaces and windows, the interior is flooded with natural light. This creates a warm atmosphere, further enhanced by the well-considered details, furniture and colour palette. Through a precise placement of furniture, smaller cosy corners are created in the open space.
Soft sand colours, exclusive furniture and stunning views define this penthouse.
The interior is shrouded in soft sand colours and filled with exclusive furniture from world brands such as B&B Italia, Carl Hansen, De Padova, Maxalto, Cassina and so on. The material palette consists of warm Mediterranean stone, marble and light wood. These natural materials are complemented by rich fabrics and finishes.
