When interior design studio Rue Verte was commissioned to furnish a historic apartment in the heart of Copenhagen, they wanted to work closely with their clients, understanding how they live their lives and matching this with my vision for their space.
Since its founding in 1994, Rue Verte has evolved and continually refined their take on timeless, contemporary interior design. This became clear with their latest project: an apartment in the heart of Copenhagen. The interior studio aimed for a subtle but sophisticated atmosphere. They chose to work with natural materials. According to the studio Rue Verte, with natural materials you can bring out the variety of structures in the materials for a refined yet impactful finish. The alabaster pendant lamp with bronze frame in the living room is an example of how you can show the beauty and depth of working with natural materials.
For the colours, the interior design studio chose a minimalist but warm colour palette, where contrasting elements really enhance the design of the furniture. The overall theme was timeless elegance with details of rustic industrialism. A palette that closely matches the DNA of Rue Verte.
Furthermore, in the dining room, you will find a beautiful table with a speckled top made of Patagonia granite. The interior design studio deliberately chose this material because it resembles art. They also left the walls bare and the lighting almost translucent. The result is an impressive dining room, with the striking dining table at its centre, complemented by the subtly contrasting nubuck chairs. Finally, the bedroom is a serene retreat with a plush floor, full-length curtains, a custom-made Rue Verte leather headboard and a warm-coloured linen bedspread. Bedrooms should be a haven where you can unwind. The finished room proves how clean lines and well-kept details give a sense of elegance and well-being, and that was what she wanted to achieve in this house. Imagicasa believes they succeeded in their goal.
