- Interior
The work of interior architect Alexander Ponsaerts is characterised by his clear approach and his many years of experience. With these two trump cards in hand, his studio in Staden takes care of various designs. His projects always start from the importance of communicating with and understanding the client.
When you build or renovate, it is important that you feel comfortable with the people you are entrusting your home to and that all your wishes and needs are respected in the concept. That is something Alexander Ponsaerts has fully understood. The starting and finishing point of his work is without exception the dialogue with the client. Not surprisingly, his vision can be summarised as designing spaces and interiors tailored to everyone's taste and life. In addition, the interior architect puts maximum effort into choosing the right materials. His own preference are rich materials with a soul, for example veneer and natural stone. Such natural materials acquire an authentic patina and an irresistible charm thanks to their unique ageing process. Together with the right atmosphere and details, the material palette contributes optimally to creating an interior that easily reflects the client's identity. The projects of Alexander Ponsaerts are difficult to ascribe to a particular style, as they rely heavily on the vision and needs of the client. Thus, the studio has already delivered both modern and rural designs. Yet all projects are linked by a certain finesse that the studio always manages to convey in his interiors.
The starting and finishing point of his work is the dialogue with the client.
The interior designer has a clearly defined methodology consisting of five different steps. These result in a clear approach with an attractive outcome. The first step is invariably a personal conversation with the client in which the needs and desires of the customer are mapped out. This is also an opportunity to make the client feel at ease and to grow a relaxed atmosphere between both parties. Then, in the second step, the design proposal is shaped into a 3D representation. This enables the client to gain a clear and spatial insight into their future interior. The third step concerns the choice of materials. As mentioned before, Alexander Ponsaerts himself prefers natural materials, for example authentic oak and solid marble. The designer finds it essential that the materials are felt and experienced, this way you can make the best choice. Step four is all about the details. This is the moment when all the details and specific choices, such as lighting, are finalised. After all, beauty is often in the details. The fifth and final step is the execution and coordination. This includes building and renovating, but also planning, execution and follow-up. A major advantage is that the agency works both as an interior designer and as a site coordinator, which enables them to supervise contractors and subcontractors. It is undoubtedly clear that interior architect Alexander Ponsaerts works carefully and personally. That is why the projects he delivers are always in line with the wishes and expectations of the client. His studio is therefore the perfect address to discuss your next renovation.
