With the right dimensions, a room can make time stand still. HH Apartment originated from such idea. Inventive passageways and a genial conceptualisation resulted in a pleasant home basis where a young family of three can enjoy a peaceful cocoon.
It is Right Angle Studio that may take the credit for this project. The interior studio operates from Singapore and can deliver long-term happiness with several services. That is to say, the team is available for interior design, design direction, spatial planning, and interior decoration. Already from the start they decided to focus on both residential projects and commercial spaces. This time, they designed an apartment for a young family that feels like a luxurious lounge that at the same time homely invites you to have cosy conversations. With a serene hill that is surrounded by lush greenery as the location, a relaxed atmosphere is ensured.
The strong architecture of the residence clearly gets additional help from the open layout of the rooms. In the living area, a wooden portal is central: a typical element for the studio’s style. Movable pivot screens make it possible to divide the inner space from the surrounding area. This flexibility is a great asset, seeing that it enables the residents to dose privacy and openness as they wish. Behind these doors, there is a snug TV corner with a desk and beautiful decoration. The latter was, besides, a really personal aspect for the family. Namely, the walls exhibit a selection of art objects that the they have collected on their travels from the last years. 
A wooden portal is the centre of the living room
The apartment presents a fine balance between comfortable furniture pieces and impressive design. In the larger living area, light floor-to-ceiling curtains cast an atmospheric glow on the interior. By keeping the colours in the social spaces lighthearted and neutral, the studio created a clear serenity. In the bedrooms and bathroom, they carefully included darker colours without leaning towards a too harsh contrast. This balance was a fine line to walk, but also proved to develop the right depth in the project. Next to this, subdued lighting in the night hall incites the perfect evening mood.
In HH Apartment, a feeling of safety and cosy conversations flourish. This residential project is a home base full of neutral beauty and functional architecture. We eagerly await more similar designs like this!
