It's almost time again for one of the most important and popular yacht events of the year! From 11 to 15 September 2019, the Monaco Classic Week - La Belle Class will take place. This yacht show is organised for the 14th time by the Yacht Club and attracts, besides luxurious and impressive classic yachts, a large audience of enthusiasts and buyers every year.
This biennial was the very first event in the world to exhibit both sailboats and motorboats from the past. In this way, the Yacht Club always shows their passion and commitment for maritime heritage. In the show, classic yachts, motor yachts and vintage motorboats are brought together in one port.

For this year's Classic Week, the United States was chosen as the theme and will be putting American yachts and designers in the spotlight. There will be yachts by designers such as John Alden and Olin Stephens and by shipyards such as Herreshoff, Chris-Craft, Garwood and Hacker-Craft. This theme was chosen for a good reason: the United States is namely one of the favourite countries of Prince Alberto II of Monaco. There will be a special 'American Village' that will commemorate the nautical heritage. The US has made an important contribution to the history and development of yachts and sailing around the world.

70 yachts are expected to take part in the races, parades and of course the Concours d'élégance where all the boats will parade in front of the jury. Any yacht may apply to participate in the event, but there will also be some boats specially selected and officially invited to participate. Besides the exciting races and show on the water, there will also be a lot of activities ashore. For example, the La Belle Class Restoration competition and an original Chefs Competition that shows the creativity of the crew members. Enough spectacle and fun for everyone. Whether you are a yacht connoisseur, collector, dealer or enthusiast, everyone is welcome!
