Interior designer Bieke Casteleyn has recently become one of our partners. Time to put a project of her in the spotlight. For her latest project Casteleyn chose clear colours: brown mystic brown marble, grey Musschelkalk combined with light wood and dark brown hand-formed tiles from Vloeren Franssens. In this way, this apartment, located in residence Duin & Park in Knokke, could be made into a peaceful whole.
A balance between shapes, colours, light and innovative materials provide a pure end result.
Bieke Casteleyn founded the design studio BCINT in the spring of 2012. BCINT's philosophy guarantees that your stories, wishes and ideas will be passionately transformed into a strong and pure concept. The result of this interaction is an interior that perfectly matches your lifestyle and personality. An eye for detail and a balance between shapes, colours, light and an innovative choice of materials ensure a harmonious and pure end result, just like her latest project, an apartment in residence Duin & Park in Knokke.
This penthouse with a surface area of 190m² is located in the heart of the Zoute and is characterised by spaciousness and transparency. The room divider in teak veneer forms the basic element in the apartment and creates a division between the living room and the dining room. It also connects the ground floor with the upper floor. A natural stone block in travertine, which houses the fireplace and the kitchen, is at right angles to it. For the bedrooms, another type of marble was used, namely mystic brown. It is in perfect harmony with the teak veneer and the oblong tiles that cover the showers.
Each of the three rooms and bathrooms, from the furniture to the decoration, is finished with high quality materials. As a result, the apartment exudes luxury down to the smallest detail. As soon as you enter the penthouse, you feel relaxed and immediately in a holiday mood.
We can totally see a holiday in our own country in this apatment in Knokke. We are already fans of this project and look forward to her future projects.
