- Interior
Lulu Lee is a digital designer from Beijing. She creates impressive visualisations of minimalist interiors in natural colours. The images look like photos of an existing interior with vibrant textures and nonchalant sunlight.
The project that caught our attention is the kind of interior we love at Imagicasa. One with natural materials and textures, rounded shapes and integrated furniture. The beige tones and organic wall recesses add to the Mediterranean feel of the spaces.
The interior seems very organic, like it is following some sort of natural movement.
Lulu Lee describes this project as a fusion of architecture, interior design and furniture because the boundaries between these three aspects are blurred by the use of integrated furniture and continuous lines. Apart from a dining table and wooden rack, all the furniture is part of the house. The interior appears very organic, like it is following some sort of natural movement. This contrasts with the perfection of CGI and visualisation techniques. It is an art to place just enough details and nonchalance in an interior without breaking the peace of the space. Digital design is a way of working that has many possibilities. One can transform a fantasy or design into a very detailed image at a high speed. Not every digital image has its own personality like the visualisations of Lulu Lee. She gives the viewer more than an image, she offers an experience. Images courtesy of Lulu Lee
