More space than you need automatically gives you a feeling of wealth and happiness. Add to this the proximity of Lake Geneva and it is difficult to dream of something better. The team of Art Partner Architects named this home Esprit, which is ideal for the airy nature that welcomes you from the first steps inside.
Art Partner Architects operates from Geneva, Switzerland and consists of a crew of driven individuals who, in each commission, work out a unique concept for the client. A lot of time goes out to compiling a mood board that already communicates the style of the final design very clearly. In each step of the process, they ask the customers for feedback, so that the collaboration runs smoothly on both sides. Their efficiency is never at the cost of the luxury that the projects exude, as is the case with these images from Esprit. The common area contains a spacious kitchen that merges into the dining room. Here, the primary goal was to approach functionality from a new angle, as well as making it the residents as comfortable as possible. The large kitchen island offers more than the necessary space to prepare dishes or have an easy breakfast. From the stove, you look out on floor-to-ceiling windows that double the enchantment of the location together with heavenly curtains. At the same time, these make the dimensions of the design more interesting, as does the level difference in the dining area. A sober but beautiful table attracts you to enjoy your meals every day, and this in the company of a striking piece of greenery.

From the dining zone you logically continue to the living area, where the monotonous palette is elaborated. The base colour, on the main floor at least, is a milky white tone. That was a logical choice if you know that the team mainly wanted to focus on shapes and textures. For instance, pay attention to the coffee table and the fauteuils, which flaunt sculptural lines. Again, here you see impressive windows that promote the surrounding nature to the most important element in this project. In contrast to the fair character of the living area, the private quarters show more colour accents. The bathtub has a special orange-brown tone, and the washbasins rest upon a dark, cylinder-shaped stone. The bed is covered in darker, brown shades and is the ultimate place for a good night’s rest. Here, as in the living room, herringbone parquet ensures a persistent sensation of cosiness and contributes to the high-end qualities of the whole. As befits this whole project, you also have an exceptionally beautiful view on the surroundings. Esprit is a project that does not loosen its grasp easily. The abundance of space and the monotonous colours are characterising for the living experience of the clients. Here, you enjoy a kingdom of stretched out vistas, pure aesthetic, and a flowing floor plan. With this design, Lake Geneva clearly has a new pearl.
