The Swedish businesswoman and blogger Isabella Löwengrip lives in a beautiful house that we are a bit jealous of. It was designed by the architectural firm Studio RAM and is located on an idyllic spot in Elfvik, a district of the city of Lidingö.
Isabella Löwengrip went to live on her own at the age of fourteen to chase after her dream. Her success story starts right where she founded her online platform that would eventually become the largest in Scandinavia. Today she has more than 1.5 million readers. Four years ago, she also founded Sweden's fastest growing beauty company. As her website states: “You could call her a modern Oprah Winfrey as she empowers and uplifts women through her digital channels.” In between all these successes she also found the time to find her dream home. It is located on the Swedish peninsula of Elfvik and was designed by Studio RAM, a young Stockholm-based architectural, real estate and branding firm. The 100-metre-long driveway takes you to the house which is lined with brown wood panels that also come back inside. The 352m2 house is situated on a plot of 2100 m2 next to a large lake where there is even a jetty to moor a boat. The house is hidden between the greenery and has a beautiful view of the garden and the lake.
The interior is open and minimalistic with many shades of white and gray. In contrast, wooden materials add warmth to the whole. The same type of wood is also used in the living room, bathroom and walk-in closet which ensures that the same atmosphere is drawn in the entire house. The house is heated with rock heat via water-based underfloor heating.

In the living room, the architects opted for a tiled floor and placed the living room one level lower than the rest of the floor. Furthermore, they dressed the space with custom-made wooden walls, stairs and shelves. Be sure to take a look at the fireplace that was cleverly placed to divide one space in different rooms. The house has a total of nine rooms. One of the wings is for Isabella Löwengrip where her bedroom, walk-in closet and bathroom are combined. (Ps.: the walk-in closet is every woman's dream!) The dressing room opens onto a large window that overlooks the living room. Superbly beautiful, but perhaps not very convenient when you have visitors and are still trying on outfits?
