Today, we would like to introduce you to a very unique project. This time, it is not an interior or architectural realisation, but a speedboat with the sounding name Hermes Speedster. It is a model of the English company Seven Seas Yachts and very unique in terms of both appearance and performance. It just as much represents the pure ‘luxury lifestyle’ that we love to put in the spotlight.
Seven Seas Yachts was founded ten years ago with only one goal in mind: to produce yachts that excel in every aspect of yacht design and production. The company succeeds every time by paying the greatest attention to detail, performance and quality, striving for the ideal balance between tradition and technology with every model. The company is based in the UK, but also has production facilities in Greece. 
In 2012, Seven Seas Yachts launched the Legend 54, their first seventeen-metre yacht, followed by the Legend 56 Fly and Hermes GranTurismo. The development of the Hermes Speedster, the impressive model highlighted here, began in 2015, two years later the company started its production. In 2018, the speedboat was immediately crowned 'boat of the year' by HISWA. With sailing season in full swing, we are ready for a stylish ride with this unique vessel!
Every part of the interior was created by hand.
The Hermes Speedster is a classic-style speedboat with features reminiscent of the 1959 Porsche 356 and the gentleman-style speedboats of the 1930s. Luxury, efficiency, style and comfort come together in one beautiful model, characterised by natural curved lines. This gives a dynamic movement and unique character to the design. The boat also needed a suitable name, and the choice fell on the ancient Greek God Hermes. He was a messenger of the Gods, son of Zeus and God of speed, wealth, happiness and travel. 
Every part of the interior – from the seats and steering wheel to the speakers and switches – has been specially designed and created by hand. The convertible top allows you to enjoy the boat to the full, despite any adverse weather conditions. The Hermes Speedster is available in different colour combinations. The colour of the hull, the leather, the carpet and the convertible top can be adjusted according to your own preference, so that you can cruise on a unique Hermes Speedster.
But that is not only true for the looks, also in terms of performance the boat produces a unique result. Like all Seven Seas Yachts models, it is based on the Amfihull, which lets you cruise at any speed while maintaining an almost horizontal attitude. Thanks to its very low resistance, this results in a smooth, safe and fun ride on the Hermes Speedster. We’d love to sail towards the sun in this wonderful piece of design!
