Our partner Key Visuals created a contemporary villa, called Woning V.-B., in which the different living functions are clearly defined. Still, a surprising spatial turn ensures that the residents always have a captivating experience.
Woning V.-B is a design of Egide Meertens Architecten. For this house, use was made of an extensive palette of materials. For example, the wood veneer is swamp oak and the natural stone is calacatta marble. In addition, the floors are made of polished concrete and oak parquet. Furthermore, the handles, taps and lighting provide a nice accent in brass. 
When creating the house, functionality was one of the most important aspects to take into account. Each room transcends its own function, as the interior design embraces these functions as an overarching unit. The intimate nature of the living experience is not compromised.

The house has a cosy fireplace, the elaboration of which, like that of the TV cabinet in relation to the kitchen diner, provides interesting views throughout the house. There is also a beautiful inner garden that introduces a lot of light in the living room. Key Visuals believes that a depicted architecture should tell a story, engage the audience and create lasting impressions; and they have succeeded once again with this project.
