This family villa in Andalusia, Spain was completely designed by Studio Piet Boon. The result is a fusion of regional influences and the team’s own perspective. By considering the surroundings as an equal element, the studio succeeded in creating a welcoming haven where there can be both celebrated and relaxed.
The Dutch Studio Piet Boon is no stranger to Imagicasa, because they have already been able to interest us with their designs in the past. Since 1983, they carry out exterior-, interior-, and product design and serve a varied public. Exclusive homes, office spaces, and hospitality projects alternate within a multidisciplinary framework. Moreover, at the studio you will find an extensive range of products that prove that high-end design is of utmost importance for them. For this beautiful residence, they took care of an architectural and interior design for no less than 735 square metres. Thanks to the higher location, the residents find here the desired privacy and security. The garden design was done by Studio Redd and is the ideal complement to the paradise on the inside. Concerning the layout, the home is a compound of different rooms, starting from the main entrance where a pair of robust doors immediately catches your eye. The entrance building divides the kitchen, living area, and accompanying terraces with sea view from the master bed- and bathroom. Next to this, the home includes among others inviting guest stays, a fitness area, and an amazing pool with numerous sunbeds.
The studio decided to stay close to the local architecture by using certain building materials. This happened in the form of eye-catching roof tiles, plaster, stairs of smeared cement, and visible beams. A modest colour palette soon turned out to be the logical addition to these materials. Notable here is that the inside and outside spaces are both a complete entity that evokes a feeling of breathing space and gives you the idea that you can fully relax. The floors from rustic natural stones are a connecting factor that gives the interior and exterior the same finishing.
Thanks to the higher location, the residents find here the desired privacy and security.
In the guest rooms, typical tiles were used, and there is an idyllic piazza that clearly refers to Mediterranean heritage. At the back of the property, the outdoor spaces are part of the entire concept, so that the home in its totality almost feels like an intimate Andalusian village. The long visual lines ensure a connecting spatiality. At the same time, the villa is an exquisite environment to invite your family and friends for cosy gatherings.
This villa in Andalusia has everything you may desire for a home in Spain. Here, you arrive in a spacious whole of authentic stones, neutral colours, and beautiful views. The property is the ideal place to optimally enjoy the surroundings and relax. Studio Piet Boon designed a home where family life can bloom to the fullest and residents can obtain complete relaxation.
