The owners love the water and go sailing or swimming whenever they can. Therefore, they settled in this area of the Netherlands, which is known for its numerous lakes. The angles and lavish proportions of the house result in a modern architectural style designed to optimise the lake view beyond the extensive gardens of the villa.

Kuster's interior designs emphasise architectural geometry and focus on perspective. Each element has been considered, using a mix of straight clean lines and strategically placed curved structures and accessories.
The impressive symmetry of the outer facade has also been implemented internally in the positioning of the furniture and the general layout. The colour palette contains a beautiful mix of grey, taupe and metallic shades that reflect the sunlight entering through the large windows. The decorative pieces bring nature inside. In rooms where comfort is essential, accessories and layers of soft textiles have been used to soften the sharp corners of architecture.
