We probably do not have to tell you anymore that Imagicasa is a big fan of images developed with artificial intelligence. The project we are showing you today was created with the help of the AI-tool Midjourney and shows an impressive hotel in the Swiss Alps, that will provide tons of inspiration for many.
Under the artist name Prspctivs, the Indian architect Harshdeep Arora works on extraordinary projects with the help of artificial intelligence. Before, he worked at several renowned companies such as UNStudio, Buro Ole Scheeren, Plasma Studio, DADA Partners, and Aecom. Now, he mainly focuses on freelance projects, specifically on creating impressive designs with different AI tools. Research into the ways of using AI in contemporary architecture and design also forms an important part of his job. For the winter season, Arora designed an impressive hotel where guests from all over the world can enjoy winter. The architect found the ideal location for that in the Swiss Alps. This inspiring environment resulted in a space where tourists can take some time for themselves and enjoy warm interiors in the heart of the mountains. The project originated with the help of Midjourney and post-processing in Procreate. With Midjourney, you have to describe your idea in a number of keywords and put them in the program, which transforms your unique vision into an image. Because these combinations vary, the end result is always a different work of art. For this project, the architect particularly wanted to test to which extent images created by artificial intelligence can look realistic and which styles can be tried out with these tools. The images were created under low lighting conditions and with minimal colour corrections, making the contrast between the dark interiors and the white surroundings even more striking.
A beautiful contrast between the sculptural hotel’s grey-black monotone theme and the white snowy landscapes
Because he strongly believes in sustainable, organic architecture, Arora chose a design that reminds of a cave embedded in the extravagant mountain landscape. He used local materials such as black clay soil, bringing about a beautiful contrast between the sculptural hotel’s grey-black monotone theme and the white snowy landscapes. The façade’s striking organic forms are continued in the interior of the dining areas and the hotel rooms, where you do not find any sharp lines, but only large, round shapes. The interiors certainly surprise as much as the mountainous landscape. We are again very impressed by the extraordinary architectural projects that can be developed with artificial intelligence. The impressive design almost looks surreal, but still feels realistic. Harshdeep Arora clearly succeeded in his goal. At the moment, the hotel is still mainly a dream project, but we hope that in the future, it will become a beautiful reality where guests will not believe their eyes.
