Anna Karlin designed some model apartments for One Manhattan Square. Each unit got its own character and story. The unique interiors where you can discover layer after layer and detail after detail are colourful, modern and playful. Each space makes you curious to discover the next one.
Anna Karlin’s studio was commissioned to design and furnish eleven model apartments for a new Lower East Side luxury residential project, namely One Manhattan Square. The empty units with white walls are barely recognizable after Karlin let a new unique and colourful wind blow through them. Each apartment got its own story and all the spaces are built up from different rich layers. The units were also given original names such as 'A Place for Entertaining', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Colorful Life', 'The Empty Nesters' and so on. The apartments feel playful and welcoming and will undoubtedly become a fine home for future residents.

The plans and distribution are specifically designed for different characters and lifestyles. The spaces are used to their fullest through the proper use of customized furniture and lighting. In many rooms, especially the living spaces, we find many details, colours, textures and furniture. However, everything is nicely balanced and efficiently furnished without being too crowded. Soft textures and warm tones create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, all in an elegant and luxurious setting. Here you will find everything you would expect in a New York luxury residence.
