Cheval Blanc Paris evokes a strong sense of Art Deco heritage while paying homage to French savoir-faire and craftsmanship designed with the help of architects Peter Marino and Édouard François. 
Architecture, decoration and scenography are interlinked.
Five years were spent on a design that unites classic with modern; the result is a timeless heritage, but also a model for the future. Cheval Blanc Paris embodies openness to innovation and dedication to conservation. For the design, the architects drew inspiration from the building’s façade, which has been restored to its original state. Straight-line motifs, the so-called parquet de glace, determine the rhythm of the stone façade, alternating with hexagonal medallions with stylised floral decorations.
The glass sections reflect golden metalspikes, creating a jewel-like effect with shimmering mineral tones. In this way, the beauty of the Art Deco style is rediscovered, with pure lines that bring a unique refinement and elegance. Inside and outside blend harmoniously, which is further enhanced by the floor-to-ceiling bay windows. 
In addition to art, many beautiful design pieces have found their place in the building. Just think of Philippe Anthonioz’s collection of pendant lights and bedside lamps in white marble and plaster, Ingrid Donat’s cast-iron Art Deco bar, which blends in perfectly with the marble floor, and Sophie Mallebranche’s delicate woven metal textile used for the staircase, which draws its inspiration from the industrial prints of the Art Deco movement. The sculptural furniture of André Dubreuil and Laurence Montano’s masterly chandelier have also been given a place at Cheval Blanc Paris. In this way, architecture, decoration and scenography are inextricably linked and form a beautiful whole.
