- Interior
An attractive project in Antwerp, the home city of our editors, is always welcome at Imagicasa. When one of our partners also plays a role in it, we are eager to present such projects to our readers. Today, we're featuring Loft Antwerp by Texture Painting.
The wonderful thing about living in a loft is that the view from a considerable level is often worth its weight in gold. However, when the interior finishing is just as high in quality, you get a total package that is nothing less than a true high-flyer. It is no different in this case. When looking at the pictures, we immediately notice how light the loft feels, as if the interior is an extension of the outdoors. In addition, the heart of the home has an open structure that gives you a sense of breathing space and calm. This openness goes hand in hand with the industrial influences found in the rooms. An important example of this is the floor, which Texture Painting altered with microtopping, a technique whereby polymer cement is applied to floors, walls or even furniture. This gives the whole thing an impression of continuity and an urban feel. In addition, this choice of Texture Painting proved to be a good combination of a luxurious look and being low maintenance.
The openness goes hand in hand with the industrial influences.
Not only the floor was treated with this technique, but also the floating shelves and the sitting TV cabinet. This obviously contributes to the complementary look of the living space, as the whole appears well thought-out and balanced. Furthermore, the kitchen and dining room complete this perfect address to receive friends and family. Nevertheless, Texture Painting continued microtopping in the private areas, therefore, the shower was also finished off with this seamless technique. The end result is a modern unit that is ideal for the urban adventurer who likes to come home and retreat to a homely but sophisticated nest. With this project, Texture Painting once again showcased their skills by providing this home with the appropriate finish with a strict eye for quality and detail.
Texture Painting is Imagicasa's favourite authority when it comes to painting and finishing. As a partner, they delight us with all their projects, and Loft Antwerp is no exception. This urban residence is an ideal home for cosmopolitans with a preference for open and seamless spaces.
