- Interior
This successor to Tom Scheerer Decorates from 2013 puts some twenty new projects by the American designer in the spotlight. It is once again an inspiring collection of interiors that radiate the characteristic refinement and unpretentiousness that we are always happy to see in the work of Tom Scheerer.
Tom Scheerer started his career as a designer more than three decades ago after graduating in architecture. He founded his own office in 1995 and since then he has been adding both residential and commercial projects to his portfolio. Scheerer is praised for what the magazine Town & Country called his 'non-decorating decorating'. His projects radiate comfort, elegance and a certain effortlessness.
A master-class interior design
This publication Tom Scheerer, More Decorating (Vendome Press) brings together a series of projects that prove once again that the designer knows what he's doing and can create a unique result time and time again with his style, whether it concerns city houses or apartments in New York, Dallas or Paris, or holiday homes in Florida, The Hampton, Palm Beach or Antigua. Photographer Francesco Lagnese captured the summery and fresh cosiness in beautiful images that perfectly reflect the eye for detail and the right proportions of the designer.
Characteristic refinement and unpretentiousness
It is a true art to furnish and decorate homes warmly and personally without creating an over-styled whole. However, Tom Scheerer succeeds in doing so time and again, and we are happy to keep this publication close to hand whenever we want to dream away at these welcoming and soothing interiors.
