A tropical edge can do wonders to make a home unique in its sort. In a quiet, residential neighbourhood in Tumbak Bay, Bali, there is an impressive villa complex where local nature is a true part of the living experience. Here, elegance and the appeal of a warm climate wonderfully converge in architectural beauty.
It is Alena Valyavko who may tie her name to this spacious design. Many interior designs sprout from her creative mind, as well as the visualisations that she makes herself. Her work is nothing short of sincere art and this recent project convinces every doubter of that. For this concept, the tropical environment and the abundance of natural light were two of the most important indicators. The house was given a rectangular shape and a large number of panoramic windows, which together with the high ceilings immediately create an impressive feeling. Concerning interior style, the designer decided to look for an earthy, organic mix of minimalism and wabi sabi, and this always with an elegant foundation in mind. An open layout unites the living and eating zones and kitchen in the same room. Moreover, no less than four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms guarantee privacy for everyone. The look is inevitably inviting, from sunrise to sunset. That is to say, a feeling of luxury converges here with a family-driven lifestyle.

In most cases, the best canvasses are neutral. That is no different in this villa, because the concrete walls were given a cream shade. In several places, wooden flooring and bronze accents make the homely vibe even more apparent, while the colour palette is complemented by occasional green and orange elements in a lively way. However, the story does not end with the inside of the villa; the outdoor area has also many beautiful things to offer. Next to the pool, residents have a view of rice fields, as well as an indoor terrace with a dining table and surrounding palm trees and other tropical vegetation that fully complete the design. In this villa, digital nomads can find a place where they always want to return to. Here, your own inner world goes quiet because of the beauty that hides in every corner.
Interior designer Alena Valyavko presented us visualisations that leave no one unmoved. This largescale villa showcases her vision in an unforgettable way, while the special location of Bali adds a unique touch to the entire project.
