- Interior
Once again, CJC Interior Design, led by Cristina Jorge de Carvalho, manages to attract our attention with one of their projects. This time it is one close to the studio itself: a flat in Lisbon. The house is again the pinnacle of elegance and luxury.
CJC Studio has already been featured in our magazine once and twice on our website with their own showroom and with the project Quinta Patiño House. Both projects perfectly reflect the style of the studio and we also recognise their hand in this recent realisation. Lisbon Apartment stays within the timeless elegance of the Portuguese design studio, but the result is once again unique.
Lisbon Apartment looks like it’s shining.
The neutral colour of the architecture became the guiding principle of the colour palette in the interior. It remained, of course, subdued with a number of colour accents typical of the style of Cristina Jorge de Carvalho. Travertine and steel, two materials that dominate the architecture, contrast with warm materials and textures, such as wood, silk, woollen carpets, which the interior designers add to the spaces. Lisbon Apartment wouldn't be a CJC project if it didn't come with the necessary luster. Although restrained in this project, the designer continues to use glossy surfaces such as marble tiles in the bathroom, glass doors, stainless steel cupboard and smooth sanded and varnished wooden cupboards. Lisbon Apartment seems to shine in the photos and has enchanted us as well.
