What could be better than visiting a spa? If you ask us, there is only one right answer to that question: a spa with an attractive interior. That is not a problem here, as the Locave Resort is home to such a wonderful place. Next to a good treatment, you can also come here for an inspiring design that completes your experience in the best way possible.
Tasnim Ashraf is an interior designer who transforms her work into beautiful 3D images. What she shows of this project is, therefore , worked out with the greatest care. She designed this spa as part of the Locave resort in Sinai, Egypt. Not unimportantly, the location is in the Abo Galoum Nature Reserve, so you can probably already imagine how the assets of this place have supported the creative process of this project. The designer presents a result for which she clearly drew inspiration from the surrounding nature.
The stone ceilings remind of a cave-like construction.
More specifically, Ashraf was influenced by the presence of the coastal mountains and quickly decided to evoke a wabi-sabi feeling with her design. To put this into practice, she used materials that are common locally, as well as an earthy colour palette. The open space and expansive windows also helped in following this style. The stone ceilings remind you of a cave-like construction that keeps you focused on the spa experience. On the floors, too, you will see stone, albeit larger ones. The organic look of the design obviously ensures a relaxing atmosphere that is right in line with what you would expect from a spa.
The Locave Resort contains a spa that can persuade anyone to pay a visit. Interior designer Tasnim Ashraf was confidently guided by the beauty of the location and wabi sabi influences. After this pleasant introduction, we are in any case completely charmed by her vision, and of course we are also looking forward to a relaxing day of pampering.
