Olympic Riviera may be a somewhat smaller space with only 57 square metres. But Russian architect Babayants Architects has a solution for that. This place is perfect for lovers of minimalism and simplicity.
To create a sense of space, they decided to keep the kitchen and living area glazed as much as possible. In addition, they make no use of partition walls, except in the hall and in the bathroom. As a result, daylight plays a major role in the composition.
Dark and graphic lines emphasise the warmth and monochrome of the main surfaces.
Dark and graphic lines of fittings, chairs and taps emphasise the warmth and monochrome of the main surfaces. This contrast gave the opportunity to use dark window frames and show character and architectural atmosphere in the interior. Despite its ultimate simplicity, it was not easy for Babayants Architects to create these pure lines. Behind the entrance door there is a beautiful terrace outside. That is the great advantage of this house. We can already see ourselves drinking our morning coffee on the terrace. Images courtesy of Babayants Architects
