We already wrote about the imaginative designs from the Chinese design agency X + Living. Last year, they realised another intriguing and cheerful project that we'd like to put in the spotlight: the Shenzhen Neobio Family Park in China, where polka dots and pastel colours play the leading role.
It’s a dream world for children shrouded in pastel colours and polka dots.
On an area of 6000 m2, Li Xiang from X + Living created a true polka dot paradise with this indoor playground. The whole park is filled with ball pools, slides, parasols, play corners, etc. and all dressed up in pastel colours and dots. Like a mini town for children, it's part of a whole series of Neobio restaurants and playgrounds designed by X + Living. In the Shenzhen park, the style of the Neobio brand is continued. As soon as you enter, you are immediately catapulted into the playful atmosphere via a bright yellow corridor with parasols. The whole space is reminiscent of a gigantic candy store with all the blue, purple and pink colours and rounded surfaces. One of the highlights in the design is the ingenious arrangement of the space by using different floor heights. Bridges allow you to move from one construction to another.
