This private house on a secret location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, was inspired by the aerodynamic shapes of the client's car. The three-bedroom building disappears between the existing nature due to its organically undulating roof that mimics the ripple of the nearby sea. Architect David Tajchman unveiled its design a short time ago.
The thirty-minute journey from a local airport to the house was part of the special design. You will discover the different landscapes that gradually merge into one another; the sea, the rocks, the greenery. The roof of the residence offers a shady carport as it extends to the north. Inside, the kitchen window is formed according to the silhouette of the car.
"The 'On the rocks' project is like a mathematical figure, but one with an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea."
Through the window that surrounds the entire house it seems as if you really live among nature and all its treasures. It is a mathematical, endless figure full of new ideas related to the location and to the specific wishes of the clients. The view it offers is incomparable; Mediterranean sunsets and crystal-clear undulating water. We are already curious about the final result!
