Travelling in a larger group does not have to mean luxury and comfort are limited. If you travel to Mykonos, we recommend the Blue Jewel Estate. In this residential complex you find three impressing villas of which we specifically present one today, namely Blue Emerald Villa.
The design was provided by 360° Concept Design Studio under the leadership of architect Alexandros Tsikordanos. He ensured that the architecture is in perfect balance with the natural surroundings and that, in a modern way, the local construction style of the island is respected through subtle references. The villa is oriented to the south, is protected from the wind and has a sea view. In this residence you find seven separated guestrooms that each have enough privacy. Next to the usual common rooms, the guests here can enjoy a spa, a fitness, a swimming pool, a home cinema, a bar and a kitchen with barbecue. Outside you can choose between a large offer of deckchairs and lounges, because even in the largest groups everyone finds a spot here.
An ode to the national nature and the vacation feeling of the guests.
The interior of Blue Emerald Villa has an airy and cosy atmosphere that embraces modern furniture and several pieces of art. The whole is a pleasant play of textures and colours that culminates in a general feeling of luxury and relaxation, without functionality being lost out of sight. When entering, you have direct access to the light living- and dining area where a warm feel welcomes you. Thanks to the arched passages and the rough stones in the bedrooms, you are pleasantly reminded of the traditional architecture of the island. Via the kitchen you have direct access to the swimming pool from the large kitchen island, from the central living area you can also enter directly outside through large sliding doors. Tsikordanos employed a man friendly manner of design because of the thoughtful selecting of materials, textures and colours. The earthy palette has a relaxing effect and, moreover, highlights the connection with the surrounding nature. A dominant element is wood: both the floor in the living area as well as the dining table and several accents are made from this material. Other used materials and accents are, for example, reed, stone and fabric. The end result is an ode to the national nature and the vacation feeling of the guests. Namely, the latter is maximally cherished in this complex; therefore, you return home with pleasant memories and the anticipation of a next stay. If you want to travel to Mykonos, remember the Blue Emerald Villa of the Blue Jewel Estate. Here you stay in a magnificent interior that combines the best of luxury with natural influences. With subtle references to the traditional architecture, this residence is the ideal choice for a relaxing vacation that provides everyone with nice memories.
