Founded by Danielle McEwan, who spent years traveling the globe during her career in the music industry, Tigmi Trading combines a deep love for culture with a discerning eye for art and design. Each piece in the collection is selected with care, emphasizing authenticity and the story behind the object. Tigmi Trading believes that the story and craftsmanship behind a product add an invisible yet palpable layer of beauty and soul to a space. Danielle’s philosophy is that a home is not merely a physical place but a sanctuary that brings beauty and depth to everyday life. 
Tigmi Trading offers a meticulously curated collection of handmade rugs, unique vintage furniture, art, and objects. A stunning example of Tigmi Trading’s vision can be seen in their recent project in Bellevue Hill, Sydney. In collaboration with Georgia Fowler, they transformed a residence into a tranquil and elegant living space that perfectly balances vintage charm with modern sophistication. The home’s interior exudes simplicity and luxury, featuring a neutral color palette that emphasizes calmness and timeless elegance. The living room is adorned with comfortable, handcrafted furniture and refined accessories that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. A standout feature in the space is a large, handwoven rug that adds texture and warmth. The organic curves of the rug echo throughout the home, appearing in the coffee table, wall tapestry, and lounge chairs that decorate the terrace.
The dining room combines minimalist furniture with natural materials, such as a solid wood table that conveys a sense of durability and authenticity. Unique artworks and decorative objects are scattered throughout the home, reflecting not only the residents’ personal tastes but also Tigmi Trading’s core values: craftsmanship and storytelling.
