Sara Ricciardi is known for her enchanting designs that reflect a deep narrative investigation. Her work is more than aesthetics; it is a visual narrative in which materials and shapes enter into a dialogue with emotion, identity and craftsmanship. This year, her studio presents a series of new creations that once again prove why Ricciardi is one of the most intriguing designers of her generation.
Her latest pieces display a unique balance between playfulness and sophistication, taking traditional Italian craftsmanship to a contemporary stage. With a keen eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of space, Ricciardi creates objects that are not only functional, but also carry a deeper layer of meaning. Her work invites the viewer to reflect on the relationship between design and personal experience. One of the most remarkable pieces from her recent collection is The Desk, a masterpiece from the Sferica Collection. This desk seems to balance almost weightlessly on wooden spheres, a playful yet thoughtful interpretation of movement and stability. Crafted from warm walnut wood and equipped with folding elements, it offers both elegance and flexibility-a perfect fusion of functionality and art.
Besides furniture, Ricciardi also brings to life new installations and interior objects, in which her multidisciplinary approach becomes even more apparent. Through careful selection of materials and collaboration with the best Italian artisans, she shapes pieces that are timeless yet surprisingly innovative.

During her lectures and presentations, Ricciardi shares her views on the art of self-story, exploring how identity and space come together to form a unique design language. Her work is an invitation to introspection: how can objects become an extension of who we are? How can design not only enrich our daily lives, but also have an emotional and intellectual impact?
Sara Ricciardi's latest creations once again prove her exceptional talent for making stories tangible. Her work transcends trends and fashion fads-they are sculptures of emotion, manifestations of timeless beauty and poetic expressions of the human experience. Photography by Marco Menghi
