The building and interior of the head offices of Yves Saint Laurent in Paris are fantastically beautiful. As elegant and sophisticated as the luxury house itself, this historic building on the Rue de Bellechasse is the perfect location for the iconic brand.
Since the beginning of this year, YSL has had its headquarters at this location in the French capital. In total, over a period of three years, an area of no less than 9,000 m2 has been renovated in accordance with the wishes of Kering, the multinational holding company of luxury goods brands which includes YSL. This beautiful building has a rich history and has already accommodated various institutions. In 1961 it was founded as the abbey of Penthemont, then it became the Imperial Guard barracks and in 1915 it became the Ministry of Pensions.
A gorgeous building with a rich history.
Because of the historical value of this building, care had to be taken during the renovation. "Everything was carried out in accordance with the regulations for listed buildings and for environmental sustainability. The building received double environmental certification in the process," said YSL. Now it houses all the headquarters and showrooms of the luxury brand. Not many photos have been released, but the few we can show you immediately show that the interior exudes as much grandeur and luxury as the exterior of the impressive building and the brand itself.
