In the heart of Richmond, a charming neighbourhood in South West London, A-nrd Studio, an award-winning design studio, has created a new masterpiece: the interior of Cocotte Richmond, a sophisticated neighbourhood restaurant with a modern twist. Known for their elegant and thoughtful designs, A-nrd Studio has brought to life a space that embraces soft minimalism while providing a warm, homely feel.
Upon entering Cocotte Richmond, guests are greeted by an interplay of colours and textures that invite relaxation. The walls, finished in a subtle lime plaster, transition from cool grey at the base to warm earth tones at the ceiling. This nuanced colour palette is enhanced by the use of natural and organic materials, carefully selected to create a calming and refined ambience. 
The seating in the front area reflects A-nrd Studio’s unique approach: a large, custom-made oak bench, upholstered in recycled textiles in a contemporary ochre shade, forms the heart of the space. The chairs, with contrasting seat cushions in rich fabrics, and custom-made tables with terrazzo resin surfaces framed by oak, contribute to a sense of modernity and sustainability.
Central to the design is the sculptural bar, a masterpiece in its own right. With a solid oak base and a golden terrazzo resin façade, the bar exudes an understated luxury. Terracotta ceramic tiles frame this statement piece, subtly separating the bar from the rest of the restaurant. Mustard leather bar stools and ceramic lamps add an inviting, intimate touch, while the spun brass pendant lights above the bar add a touch of sophistication.
Cocotte Richmond is a beautiful example of A-nrd Studio’s signature style: a combination of understated minimalism and warm, organic elements. With subtle references to previous Cocotte restaurant designs, the space retains a familiar feel, while new details add a fresh twist. The carefully curated materials, colours and bespoke elements reflect A-nrd Studio’s dedication to timeless quality and comfort.
