- Interior
At Sur Mesure Interieur, the focus on the client's wishes is in the name alone. In their designs, you trace all the assets that usually make a project a success: balance, spatial insight, a timeless veil and precise execution. It is with great admiration that we introduce you to two of their recent projects, namely a monumental mansion and their own showroom, which they created entirely in line with their personal philosophy.
Caroline Pittery and her team like to go the extra mile to provide their clients with a result that is completely tailored to their needs. A great listening ear and the ability to empathise with another person's world and wishes are indispensable skills for this. With every commission, the architectural dimension is the basis on which they build. They analyse lines, proportions and dimensions down to the last detail, so that they come up with an interior concept that is an optimal match. Light is also a crucial tool for this. Once they have a design that strikes the right balance, they move on to the selection phase for materials and colours. As far as possible, they consciously choose a natural and sustainable palette. No detail is overlooked, and before realisation begins, a precise plan is drawn up which allows them to keep a global and clear overview at all times. Thanks to this precise methodology, the execution is done with absolute class and reliability. The end result is an impressive interior that is made to measure for the residents. Sur Mesure can therefore be taken literally, and they are rightly proud of it. The interior designers themselves feel a particular need for fabrics in a house, as they immediately make a room feel homely. Curtains and cushions in deliberately chosen shades connect the dots and are crucial supports for the final atmosphere a room exudes.
During the creative phase, they mainly looked at the property's individuality
A consistent portfolio is the best proof that a studio has developed a distinctive style. That is why today we will tell you about not one but two recent projects to which Sur Mesure attached its name tag.T hey went to work on a mansion in need of new love and had its best assets dusted off. The input of Caroline and her team consisted of fusing the dining room and living space into an overarching and serene whole. Following this, there is also an aperitif area that they started working on.Here, the main aim was to meet the busy rhythm of the residents and their need for domestic calm and a foothold. They seized this assignment with both hands, as homes with a characteristic soul are highly regarded by them. During the creative phase, they focused on the individuality of the building and selected materials that will stand the test of time with flying colours. To make the glory of the house palpable again, they took care to highlight the strong elements that were already present. These include the wood panelled ceiling and the lead fire glass: two strongly defining aspects that were certainly not to be lost. Photography by Stéphanie Mathias
