- Interior
You haven't needed to tell us for a long time that Frako has one of the best teams of interior experts in Belgium and beyond. This time, we introduce you to a penthouse in Terneuzen where they were jointly responsible for this modern interpretation of maritime luxury. Starting from their trusted quality principles, they contributed to the successful realisation of yet another project that makes their underpinned knowledge and experience concrete.
Actually, Frako's roots are in the Belgian Kempen region, but for this assignment they just crossed the border into the Netherlands, to Terneuzen in the province of Zeeland. There they did what they do best, which is to deliver total furnishings of the highest possible standard. Originally, their story began years ago with building kitchens. They still do, although their range of tasks has grown enormously over the years. Today, you can also count on them to realise bathrooms, dressings, desks and more. They know their way around all areas of your home. In some projects, they are responsible for both design and development; in others, they are called in specifically for the latter. This time, for instance, it involves a shared effort with Studio de Blieck, whose people provided the design. While they got to work on the creative part, Frako ensured that the customisation and overall realisation left nothing to be desired.
Within their philosophy, without exception, the client is central. They do not merely go for a satisfied client, but for one who comes knocking on their door again without hesitation and is invariably convinced of their abilities. After initially painting a clear picture of the specific wishes and expectations, the focus shifts to their workshop where everything is realised. Continuing to innovate is one of the keys to growing with your industry and, in the long run, becoming ever more clearly one of the best players in your sector. Cutting-edge equipment and human experience reinforce each other here; that is evident when you browse their portfolio. On top of that, they focus exclusively on the highest class of materials and think optimally about the possibilities in terms of design.
The reflection of the surrounding sea emerges as an added dimension
This penthouse had to be a place where you experience the maritime factors of the outdoors inside. The large windows and circular smoking mirrors between the dining area and the living room make this known from the start. In this way, the reflection of the surrounding sea reveals itself in an extra dimension. As an eye-catcher, the bar furniture in the living area can certainly count. Whether just in your own company or in that of others, both individual and shared moments are enriched by the showpiece. Near the TV, the slats and veneer in oak dominate the view. Moreover, you can see here an illustrative example of Frako's detailed approach. The air conditioning was completely concealed in the furniture, so nothing is visually disturbed. From those seamless lines, your gaze flows on to the high ceilings that dominate the project. Because of this, as well as the location on the top site, all furniture pieces had to be craned up to one of the roof terraces before being put in place inside. A tough challenge, therefore, although in the meantime few difficulties have really been an obstacle for these practised experts.
