Justien Lescouhier knows how to create projects that evoke a visual tranquillity. Materials with a soul play an important role in this, and her most recent project in Nieuwpoort is a fine example of this. We are happy to take you to the Belgian coast.
Our partner Justien Lescouhier once again managed to create a design that completely satisfies her client, this time by the sea in Nieuwpoort. With a creative and thoughtful eye, she designed a practical and unique layout where openness, flexibility and natural daylight prevail. The use of subtle roundings and serenity gives the whole a very casual atmosphere. The flat was designed to enjoy a second, warm home with panoramic open views as the icing on the cake. Using a unique concept with elegant design and thoughtful use of materials and colours, the interior designer managed to create a holiday feeling. She strongly believes in getting the overall picture right and finding the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Cosiness, elegance and tranquillity
The design is pleasing to the eye thanks to the calmness emanating from the spaces. The soft colour palette gets well-deserved recognition for this, as the calm tones are an important aspect of the overall ambience. Thanks to the use of many beige tones, there is a direct connection to the surroundings, namely the sandy grains of the beach. Dark blue also makes an appearance, adding a dash of colour to the whole as well as a nod to the water of the sea. Lescouhier's work is often typified by some recurring features. Her use of naturally soft colours, as well as seamless transitions in different types of materials translate her design style. With a focus on a cosy, homely style that blends with an atmosphere of holiday, she was able to provide a design that scores great on many levels. In short, a contemporary character with thoughtful connections and a calm look is what this is all about. Visualisations by Rendeer
To design a residence that perfectly suits the lifestyle of the clients, an interior architect has to understand what the life of the residents looks like. By listening carefully to them, Justien Lescouhier manages to create projects that evoke a visual tranquillity. Materials with a soul play an important role in this.
