A new year, a clean slate. With a fresh calendar under our arms, we asked our partners to look back and look ahead to their projects, and their current situation.
Weddingplanner and party designer Feriatus from Maasmechelen and Knokke will provide festivities from A to Z, with specialization in festivals abroad. No two events are the same. We talked to jack-of-all-trades and inspirer Nadine Winten about her passion and profession.
What is last year's project of which you are most proud, and why?
‘If I have to choose one project, I choose the communion party of Margaux. She dreamed of the wonderful world of 'Alice in Wonderland'. Feriatus transformed an austere factory hall into a fairytale dream. The decoration and animation were amazing.’
What are you looking forward to professionally this year? What are the developments towards the future?
‘Every party is unique for me, so I look forward to every party I'm allowed to organize. I do not want to supply mass production or copycats from previous parties. In the future I hope to be able to focus even more on celebrations abroad. Somewhere I'm also a travel planner.’
What would you like to realize within your sector that you have not yet been able to do?
‘To be able to push my boundaries all the time is the ultimate thing for me.’
Who is/are your most important business partner/s?
'I don’t work with regular suppliers or business partners, as every customer has a specific wish or taste and I always like to see this in consultation with them. Customer is king.’
Who is your client base usually?
‘I am lucky to be able to work with clients who wish for an original, luxurious party, that has been finely tended and decorated, and taken out of their hands from A to Z, so that they can fully enjoy their beautiful day(s).’
What do you wish for yourself and your (potential) customers for the new year, apart from a classic such as 'good health'?
‘Striving for the ultimate happiness. Doing what you like to do is so important, and it also promotes the healthy mind.’
We are working on it! Thank you very much
