We are happy to take you to a charming flat in the heart of Paris' lively 11th arrondissement. Designed with the vision of a hotel suite, this carefully crafted space offers a serene and inviting atmosphere, where artworks and vintage furniture come together in perfect harmony.
Interior designer Bella-Pia Richard sees her work as a subtle balance where materials, volumes and craftsmanship are skillfully orchestrated to achieve harmonious and embodied interiors. Born and raised between Paris and Marrakech, she trained in interior design at ESAG Penninghen in the French capital and worked for three years at standardised Atelier MKD (Paris), where she worked on large-scale projects for three years. She spends a lot of time researching materials, precise details and local know-how and tries to avoid any kind of uniformity in her projects to create original and personal spaces that respect the environment.
Assembled vintage pieces add character and charm to the space
One of her most recent project is this intimate retreat. The living spaces, decorated with soothing cream tones, serve as a blank canvas to display an exquisite collection of artworks. Each carefully selected artwork adds a touch of sophistication and intrigue, creating a visual feast for the senses. Looking further, you will discover carefully curated vintage furniture pieces that add character and charm to the space. These unique finds not only serve as functional elements, but also evoke a sense of nostalgia and timeless elegance. From striking chairs to retro lamps, each piece tells its own story and contributes to the overall aesthetic.
The bedroom and en suite bathroom, cloaked in inviting terracotta tones, offer a warm and cosy retreat. The combination of designed items and artworks transforms these spaces into sanctuaries of comfort and style. One of the signature design elements of this flat is the play of rounded corners on the ceilings and walls, as well as a layered plinth, which creates a soft and flowing aesthetic. This architectural detail serves as an ideal backdrop for the artworks and vintage furniture, increasing their presence and creating a seamless integration within the overall design. Mirrors, strategically placed throughout the flat, not only enhance the perception of space, but also reflect the beauty of the well-chosen shades, enhancing their impact and adding an element of intrigue to the overall design. Fully unwind in this warm flat, where every detail has been carefully chosen to provide a luxurious experience akin to a boutique hotel suite.
