Renew, realign, and reimagine: this is how Maison Osaïn encapsulates the core values of their mission to breathe new life into aging homes. Maison Osaïn is an interior studio that transforms houses into oases of tranquility and well-being, with a focus on sustainability and aesthetics. Founded by Thomas, an architect, and Ann, a fashion expert, Maison Osaïn brings a unique perspective to living spaces. Their process of restoring splendor to homes whose glory has long faded emphasizes respect for authenticity, seamlessly blending it with modern comfort and style. Every detail is meticulously chosen to create a home that is more than a physical structure—a place that fosters well-being and connection. This intentionality forms an invisible, yet tangible layer in every Maison Osaïn project.
The name "Osaïn" is inspired by a Yoruba deity symbolizing the wisdom of nature. These values—healing, renewal, and restoration—resonate deeply with Maison Osaïn's philosophy: reviving aging homes in a similar spirit. To accomplish this, Maison Osaïn's founders rely on eight key pillars that echo throughout their projects. Alongside authenticity, they prioritize silence, nature, beauty, sustainability, transparency, care, and holism. Moreover, Thomas and Ann frequently collaborate with artists and artisans, resulting in homes that are not only sustainable but also enriched with refined artistic touches. In the verdant surroundings of Kontich, one finds an inspiring embodiment of Maison Osaïn’s philosophy. House Morello is a family home that combines modern architecture with a strong emphasis on sustainability and natural beauty. Constructed with eco-friendly materials such as CLT wood and equipped with solar panels, a heat pump, and EV charging stations, the home is designed to minimize its environmental impact. Open spaces, abundant natural light, and a palette of earthy tones create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The location is ideal for families: the home offers a safe and child-friendly environment with a spacious garden where children can play freely. At the same time, its proximity to Antwerp allows residents to enjoy both tranquility and urban convenience.
Maison Osaïn carefully selects every detail to create a home that is not just a physical space, but a sanctuary fostering well-being and connection
Like other Maison Osaïn projects, House Morello is more than just a sustainable home—it is a work of art. The property was brought to life through collaborations with Morevi Studio, known for their felted wall tapestries, and ceramicist Marlies Huybs, who crafted unique wall objects. These artistic elements enhance the home’s peaceful ambiance and add a distinct aesthetic. The interiors feature a harmonious mix of carefully curated vintage design pieces and contemporary furniture, realized in collaboration with AFC Collection and Livelight by Ethnicraft. House Morello symbolizes the seamless fusion of sustainable architecture, artistic vision, and modern comfort. The result is a luxurious home that redefines “mindful living.” Introduced through a private event, this unique property was sold within just one week. With House Morello, Maison Osaïn demonstrates that sustainability and style can coexist, and that a home can truly embody beauty and ecological responsibility.
