The name says it all: in this Beige Residence by Kanstantsin Remez, you are welcomed by an interior in elegant shades of beige. Complement this with a minimalist approach and a combination of natural and tactile materials, and you have a home we instantly fell in love with.
From Belarusian (interior) architect Kanstantsin Remez, we have already shown some beautiful projects at Imagicasa before. The designer, who lives in GdaĆsk, Poland, sees architecture as a language in which you can fully express yourself. By paying attention to every detail and finding good proportions between form and texture, he succeeds every time in creating homes that make our hearts leap immediately. We would like to take you through one of his recent projects. The Beige Residence is a multi-family home that prioritises spaciousness, intimacy, and sufficient privacy in its design. The use of a contemporary vision creates a timeless aesthetic, making it a modern haven where residents can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and find rest and relaxation. The house is divided into three volumes: the central area with the kitchen, utility rooms, and an office; the sleeping area with four bedrooms and two bathrooms; and the living area with the living room, dining room, and library. The material palette is deliberately subdued. The walls of the house are made of tamped earth and are left bare, giving the impression that the house rises, as it were, out of the landscape and blends into its surroundings in a very natural way. Inside, the rammed earth is accompanied by natural wood, which adds warmth and cosiness to the overall atmosphere and contrasts with the stillness and coolness of the walls and travertine elements. The only exception to the beige colour palette is the office space, where a soft shade of green has been chosen.

Along the outside, the house was designed mainly with privacy in mind. The residence is set back a little from the street and is surrounded by tall hedges, which create a sense of seclusion and a private outdoor space for the residents. Paved earth walls also help conjure a feeling of enclosure and privacy, while large windows and glass doors offer views of the surrounding landscape.
Both on the inside and on the outside, all the choices the interior architect made contribute to an ultimate sense of calm and relaxation. The simple colour palette is clearly the eye-catcher in this home and exudes great class. At the same time, the materials also add a touch of complexity and the necessary sense of intimacy and warmth. Visualisations by ozero.
