The finishing of a home often functions as the common thread that connects every space to the next. With their expertise, our partner Texture Painting is the address par excellence. Their techniques are perfect to take an interior to the next level and conjure an aesthetical cohesion at the same time.
The traditional is not far enough for these specialists. For each client, they go to great lengths to apply the right decorative finishing, so that each result has the right degree of distinctiveness. Providing different surfaces with painting techniques and cladding is their second nature. Fans of seamless transitions who want to spruce up an interior with interesting textures cannot miss them. This time, they applied their familiar feel for detail to a residential villa in the north of Belgium. In the entire home, the team used lime plaster. This was no arbitrary decision, considering that in collaboration with the interior designer they created a custom colour that is completely aligned with the other elements that make up the style. Next to treating the walls, they worked on a very special piece of furniture. Namely, they realised a custom table with microtopping. This proved to be a great match with the others shades of the residence.

The table in question certainly is not the only demonstration of the use of microtopping. In the different bathrooms, the same technique was applied, which served a double goal. Next to adding to the luxury ambience, the material is known for the extraordinary ease of maintenance. In this way, the property fully lives up to its function of family home, although visually it is just as strong. The neutral bubble is not punctured once in the entire home, nor does the idea lose its overarching character. Concerning decoration and furniture nothing but consequent choices were made, seeing that every domain of the whole has a clear direction. When it comes to colours, this mainly means that they searched for tranquillity. By avoiding placing too pronounced elements, the villa conserves a continuous feeling of composed calmness. You certainly should underestimate the role of finishing here. Qualitative details, a personal approach and an impressive knowledge are the glue with which they give each project a high-end finishing. This villa project can count on a contribution full of Texture Painting’s finesse. Their popular techniques do not withhold anything, because the finishing of this inviting home speaks volumes. In the future, they will undoubtedly get to work on many more places, literally.
