It is with a peaceful feeling that we let go. Winter, that is, which we have by now endured long enough and which is now giving way to the waking entrance of spring. In 2024, we also see a challenge to bid farewell to predictability. Daring is rewarded, we are increasingly sure of that. That is why, for this edition, we worked extra hard to find projects that amaze, make you admire, and deviate from expected patterns. Naturally, during that process, we maintained with an iron grip our status as a quality label and proclaimer of things not to be missed. Design, architecture, and interiors are our home, and we love sharing them with you the most.
From near and far, we collected residences that speak. Though different in style, nature and context, their messages have a common undertone that says: come in and feast your eyes. For us, the best interiors are the ones that cannot be categorised, but rather carve out a unique middle ground between different notions. We therefore selected with the importance of conceptual strength in mind. There is no exuberance without control; no fantasy without an understanding of ease of use; and no appeal in modern without a spice of rustic. The homes on these pages illustrate that reasoning perfectly. On top of that, spring makes us love bold colours and daring combinations more and more. More than private residences, we also present you with several commercial projects of an insanely high standard. A former sanatorium was transformed into a modern retreat, for example, while in Australia one of the first flagship stores around coffee was designed. All projects are a credit to a team of talented individuals who continue to challenge themselves. Stepping outside comfort zones and pushing boundaries is what we love to see designers do. So brace yourself to be showered with originality, imagination, and finesse.
An issue full of bold colours and bold combinations
From the outset, a strong curatorial approach has emerged in our magazine. Each issue comes about through digging, discovering, and experimenting. Similar is the work of galleries such as Les Ateliers Courbet in New York. From the latter, we selected some must-see favourites ourselves, as well as from Milan's surprising lighting collection. Of course, we also like to keep you up to date on the ins and outs of design. Therefore, be sure to check out the novelty pages we put together and discover our take on one of the most striking interior design trends of the moment. Furthermore, this season we work around the idea of your home as a private oasis. Happiness can sometimes be made with simple things, like the best home linen from Belgium and far beyond. Of course, we are also proud to reserve a spot for our own collection consisting of candles, diffusers, bath textiles and more. Imagicasa Home brings our philosophy into your home and ensures increased well-being and a grounding of your emotions every day. Last but never least, I would like to take a moment to express our appreciation to our new and trusted partners, enthusiastic advertisers, and interested readers. Thank you very much for your trust in Imagicasa. Let this spring edition be the opening shot of an unforgettable year full of exciting content and intriguing stories! The magazine is in shops now and can be purchased via our webshop' target='_blank'>webshop. Header image: cover design and visualisation by @bunbruh - Shubham Ram from Archdose
