Nestled in the lively streets of Porto, Casa Cedo welcomes visitors with warmth and color, specifically designed to awaken the senses and inspire creativity. This intimate boutique hotel invites visitors to explore the city through a lens of art, nature, and carefully considered design. From the moment guests step inside, the combination of flowers, fragrances, and curated artworks creates a gentle welcome, setting the tone for an experience that feels personal and immersive. Every detail encourages guests to reconnect and discover, making each stay feel like a journey rather than just a night away from home.
The interiors of Casa Cedo were designed by Quiet Studios in collaboration with the founders, Massimiliano Sale and Jeremiah Healy. Their vision was to preserve the soul of a 19th-century Porto house while adding modern touches. Portuguese architect Joana Leandro de Vasconcelos and Atelier in.vitro guided the careful restoration of the historic façade, tiles, stucco, and stonework, ensuring that the building’s past harmonized with its new life. Attention to detail extended to sustainable practices, such as a pioneering water-recycling system, and the sensitive addition of a new upper floor, blending old and new without compromising the house’s character. 
The hotel occupies a central location on Rua de Cedofeita, steps from the Miguel Bombarda district and vibrant local streets. Its ground floor brings together communal spaces: a lounge with sculptural furniture, a bar, and a workshop dining area housed in a renovated outbuilding with glass walls and reclaimed wooden beams. The floral boutique doubles as reception, designed in collaboration with BOSQUE, filling the space with scent, color, and curiosity. Every corner reflects a careful balance of artistry and comfort, where visitors can read, converse, or simply pause to enjoy the atmosphere.

Custom furnishings, locally crafted objects, and subtle artworks, alongside amenities by Byredo, create a sense of calm and elegance. Guests can look out either onto the quiet garden or the lively street, experiencing a seamless connection between interior and exterior life.
