We might be a bit early with this announcement, but we just couldn’t keep this news to ourselves! At the end of September this year, the Frankfurt Motorshow will take place again. One of the eye-catchers will certainly be the Lamborghini LB48H Terzo Millennio. Lamborghini is a brand that surprises regularly but this time they are big.
What is so special about the Lamborghini LB48H Terzo Millennio? The car is the first hybrid supercar with an electric 6.5L V12 engine. With 838 hp this electric version is certainly not inferior to its brothers. Lamborghini decided to limit the amount to 63 cars. And despite the price of $2.5 million, they all would already be sold out.
The Lamborghini LB48H Terzo Millennio will amaze everyone at the Frankfurt Motorshow.
For this new concept Lamborghini wants to develop an innovative super capacitor system. To do this, she worked with two laboratories of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They focus on the use of structural electrical energy such as rechargeable batteries.
Five years ago, a similar system was already applied to the popular V12 Aventador. In this way, a high peak power should arise. The regeneration of kinetic energy should also be possible with the system. The design uses innovative materials and an improved energy storage system.
Last but not least, the Lamborghini LB48H Terzo Millennio wants to bring technology and self-repair together. The car itself will then, with the help of health monitoring, detect cracks and damage. An innovative car focused on the future and full of perfection. Definitely worth a visit at the Frankfurt Motorshow (12-22 September 2019).
