The New York gallery Cristina Grajales Gallery specializes in twentieth-century and contemporary design. The gallery is seen as one of the pioneers in the world of design and it is not for nothing that it gained this reputation. The carefully selected works are one by one gems by leading designers.
Cristina regularly participates in recognised art and design fairs around the world. The works in the gallery always seek out the boundary between art and design and often even blur that boundary. The gallerist represents various top artists and designers. For this year's Design Miami/Basel fair she showed works by Pedro Barrail, Christophe Côme, Aaron Poritz and Steven & William Ladd, among others. The aesthetics of her gallery in New York were perfectly continued in the beautiful, elegant exhibition stand that no one could just walk past.

Cristina is known as one of the most respected experts in the design field. She had previously been director of the 1950 Gallery in New York for ten years. Under her leadership, the gallery became the main source of European mid-century furniture, lighting and objects. Her passion for twentieth-century masterpieces, which has made the gallery so successful, is now continuing in her own gallery.
In addition to managing her gallery, Cristina also provides advice and design counselling to build and preserve important collections. For example, she is on the board of Creative Time, a non-profit art organisation.
