In one of the green neighbourhoods of charming Antwerp town Brasschaat in Belgium stands Studio Anja Vissers' new surprising design: the 'contemporary villa P.G.'. As with every new construction or renovation project by the renowned design agency, this residence has been given a minimalist touch in which a balanced environment is central.
Studio Anja Vissers has been making villas throughout Flanders shine since 1996. The leading design agency consists of a team of top female (interior) architects who bring out authentic elements in contemporary design. The architectural firm mainly focuses on minimalist designs where many open spaces give residents a free feeling when coming home. 
Even in the contemporary villa P.G., a clean interplay of lines prevails, with warm elements being inventively incorporated. As soon as you enter the driveway, you immediately notice the static grandeur of the residence. This is only confirmed in the interior: the grandeur of the entrance hall is mainly created by the impressive floating staircase that opens onto a unique natural stone. That stone imbued with small details is also continued in the kitchen and the breakfast nook to emphasise the unity of the residence. 
A clean interplay of lines, with warm elements being inventively incorporated
Once you arrive in the living space, the wood accents of the two-piece wall and the parquet of composite French oak immediately catch your eye. These add extra warmth to the whole design. There is no lack of warmth, as the wall is fitted with a gas fireplace and underfloor heating was considered throughout the house, so the resident couple can always walk around their home barefoot. The grandeur of the rooms and luxurious abundance of natural light encourage the ultimate feeling of freedom. Every wish of the residents has been catered for: the bedroom is accompanied by a spacious dressing room with an island and the bathroom becomes a real gem thanks to the use of silver river stone. Finally, the entire building is surrounded by a spacious garden where you can enjoy the sound of rustling trees and singing birds in the cosy lounge.
